Abstract
“With the Commonwealth Games taking place in Glasgow in 2014, sportis set to have a prominent profile in Scotland. Competitiveness in sport can draw out the best in people, but can also give rise to other behaviours which may cause concern. This report reflects on the place of competitiveness, based on the principles of loving our neighbours and treating others aswe would want to be treated.”
