Abstract
Our international financial system five years after the crisis is still vulnerable. Academics and journalists do not ask whether there will be another global financial crisis but only when. Therefore we want to take up the question of how civil society actors such as Bread for the World can better influence the technical and political decision-making on processes of financial regulation in order to limit crises and ensure a fair distribution of their societal costs when they do occur. This is especially important given the still heavy anti-regulatory efforts of the financial industry.
