Abstract
"No que tange a política, as perguntas mais comuns que chegam aos pastores e líderes da Igreja são: devem os adventistas votar na escolha de seus legisladores e governantes? Não seria uma forma de traição ao compromisso com o Reino de Deus esse tipo de participação no processo político? Pode algum membro da igreja tornar-se candidato a cargos eletivos sem contrariar os interesses da Igreja? Este artigo tem o objetivo de oferecer uma resposta tais questões, à luz da Bíblia e dos escritos de Ellen White" ["In relation to politics, the most common questions that come from pastors and Church leaders are: Should a Adventist vote for the election of their representatives and of government?
