    Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá aspekty regulace a samoregulace internetu jako celosvě-tového média, hledá a analyzuje vhodná řešení pro přiměřenou regulaci a samoregulaci internetového obsahu. V teoretické části se zabývá obecnými principy regulace a samore-gulace masmédií, mírou regulace médií ve vztahu k úrovni demokracie, vlivy regulace na důvěryhodnost médií a jejich masovou dostupnost. V neposlední řadě rozebírá teoretické možnosti regulace na jednotlivých geopolitických vrstvách. V praktické části identifikuje hlavní negativní jevy na internetu a právně-technické možnosti pro jejich regulaci. V sa-motné kapitole se věnuje rozboru a analýze projektu, který prakticky aplikuje právně-technické možnosti pro potírání negativních jevů na internetu, projektu Evropské Unie SAFER INTERNET.
