Abstract
"Alguns acadêmicos minimalistas têm sugerido que os primeiros teólogos do Cristianismo, com severo acento em Paulo, forjaram uma hermenêutica artificial e anti-semita do gênio da literatura hebraica. Logo, teriam forçado o Antigo Testamento a emitir conceitos, sobretudo cristológicos, que jamais poderiam ter sido aceitos por seus autores originais. No entanto, uma atenta verificação das várias escolas interpretativas do primeiro século, aponta-nos que essa leitura enfaticamente messiânica ou cristocêntrica das Escrituras Hebraicas não era característica única dos primeiros cristãos. Neste trabalho, analiso brevemente uma dessas muitas aproximações cristológicas do Antigo Testamento, tomando por base o texto grego de Colossenses 1:13-20" ["Some minimalist scholars have suggested that the first theologians of Christianity, with severe stress in Paul forged an artificial hermeneutics and anti-Semitic genius of Hebrew literature. Soon, they would have forced the Old Testament to issue concepts, above all Christological, which could never have been accepted by the original authors. However, a careful check of the various interpretive schools of the first century, shows us that this emphatically Messianic or Christ-centered reading of the Hebrew Scriptures was not only characteristic of the early Christians. In this paper, we analyze briefly one of those many Christological approaches the Old Testament, based on the Greek text of Colossians 1: 13-20"]
