Abstract
"Since the 1970s, beginning in the most developed countries of the world, there has been a persistent campaign in favour of euthanasia, understood as an act or ommission which by its nature and intention terminates the life of the seriously ill or also of malformed newborn babies. The motive usually advanced in these cases is to save the patient from undue, useless suffering."
