"El Magnificat ha inspirado incontables estudios exegéticos, meditaciones, predicaciones, oraciones, himnos; ha sido fuente para la mar io logia a lo largo de los siglos1 y últimamente se ha constituido en desafío para los análisis estructurales y semióticos. Precisamente a este nivel queremos bosquejar los principales trazos de la estructura manifiesta de esa magnífica unidad lírica del Evangelio de Lucas, ampliando el panorama con algunos datos de la llamada inmanencia del texto y de la hermenéutica."
