Abstract
Corruption in Indonesia has been infecting all aspects of life. So there must be fundamental steps to eradicate it. One is to campaign anti-corruption ethics and religiosity in a society. It comes from the values of religion itself like honesty, responsibility, and fairness. If it could be properly internalized, it will be able to prevent a person from corrupt behavior. Therefore, it is urgent to disseminate in a society through religious education. Religious education has an important and strategic position in the national education system. It is one of the lesson subject that must be taught at all levels of education. Unfortunately, it fails in producing good generation. The evidence is that all corruptors are 'religious' people. Therefore, it seems urgent to reconstruct religious education in Indonesia in order to produce anti-corruption students. Reconstruction of religious education covers the curriculum, learning materials, methods and media of learning, and evaluation of learning. With the reconstruction, religious education is expected to be an effective instrument to preach anti-corruption ethics and religiosity so that it is able to contribute in eradicating corruption in this country.
