Abstract
"The study of religious phenomena is one of the interests of American psychology since G. Stanley Hall. Research on it attracted the attention of many prominent scholars, but not much progress. Among the causes is a hesitation in psychology to enter areas that are considered "sacred" and also because of the lack of experimental efforts to study religion" (p. 82)
