Abstract
This book was originally a doctoral dissertation at the University of Melbourne, Australia, and published by E.J. Brill in the series Studies in Islamic Law and Society. This book consists of eight chapters, out of the Introduction and Conclusion. The author of this book states that the talks regarding usury far too much emphasis on legal aspects and do not emphasize the moral aspect. Therefore this study about to fill the void, and see how it is applied in the Islamic banking system in practice.
