Abstract
"Michel Villey, recordando a frequente “alergia” que alguns juristas têm da Filosofia do Direito, disciplina não raro considerada como “inútil” por muitos deles, explica que esse fato exige que ela tenha de ser sempre justificada (1975, p. 3-4). Por isso, não basta que se diga o que ela é; também é necessário apresentar as razões pelas quais deveríamos empregar tempo e esforço no seu estudo. Assim, o que é a Filosofia do Direito? E para quê Filosofia do Direito?"
