Abstract
This paper discusses the importance of multicultural education based on the values of Pancasila in Indonesia. The author states that to realize this idea, it should be done by all elements such as government, education institution, and society. The author argues that there are five aspects that must be developed in multicultural education: content integration, knowledge construction, prejudice reduction, equitable pedagogy, and empowering school culture and social structure.
