Abstract
"As pesquisas e descobertas das novas “ciências da vida” suscitam uma série de convulsões epistemológicas capazes de redefinir os limites da condição humana. Isso ocorre porque as defi nições de vida e morte, natural e artifi cial, normal e patológico, também estão sofrendo convulsões, e os projetos tecnocientíficos constituem um importante vetor nestas transformações."
