Abstract
"Um dos desdobramentos mais interessantes e potencialmente mais fecundos da agudização da consciência da crise ambiental global foi a releitura levada a cabo pelas diversas tradições religiosas, tanto de suas matrizes ideológicas, bem como de suas práticas, pela perspectiva ecológica. A julgar pelo número de publicações a respeito, a imbricação com a natureza parece ser, hoje, um dos principais focos de atenção das áreas ligadas às ciências da religião, representando, provavelmente, um dos principais espaços de diálogo entre o campo da ecologia e a área das humanidades, tendo gerado impactos fertilizadores tanto nos campos da reflexão ecológica de matiz estritamente científico, bem como nas áreas da teologia, das ciências da religião e da filosofia" ["One of the most interesting developments and potentially more fruitful of heightening awareness of the global environmental crisis was rereading carried out by the various religious traditions, both their ideological matrices, as well as its practices, the ecological perspective.
