Abstract
"Quanto aos artigos do presente número, é com alegria que, na qualidade de editor, posso apresentar um texto de meu grande amigo, mentor e orientador Dr. Vítor Westhelle, professor titular na Lurheran Schoo/ of The%gy ar Chicago (LSrCJ, com vários textos publicados nas áreas de metodologia, teologia e filosofia da religião. O artigo de Vítor intitula-se "Modernidade, Mito e Religião: Crítica e Reconstrução das Representações Religiosas", e busca examinar como a incredulidade inseriu-se na história do Ocidente no ápice da própria modernidade, sendo antes de tudo uma crítica às representações religiosas. Num segundo momento, e ainda no amplo espaço marcado pela intersecção de filosofia e religião, temos o artigo de um grande amigo e ex-professor do Departamento de Ciência da Religião: "O Racionalismo da Ética Argumentativa em Face da Secularização Moderna", do Dr. Luiz Bernardo Leite Araújo (PGFIL-UERJ).
