Abstract
The paper discusses the dynamics of the life of Konghucu which was previously regulated by the President 1 pn.ps/1965 or law No. 5 of 1969 concerning the types of recognized religions which are Islam, Catholicism, Protestantism, Hinduism, Buddhism and Khunghuchu. The problem appears when another regulation emerged ; Letter No. 77/2535/POUD Interior Minister, dated Julywhich states that the type of religion in Indonesia consist of Islam, Catholicism, Protestantism, Hinduism, and Buddhism, meaning that Konghucu categorized under another mainstream religion. The new President Decree posed in 2000 brings a new hope for Konghucu follower.
