"Trata-se de analisar as diversas afinidades e diferenças no diálogo que se estabelece entre o romance, 120 dias de Sodoma, do Marquês de Sade e Saló ou os 120 dias de Sodoma, de Pier Paolo Pasolini. O que o livro e o romance têm a ganhar numa abordagem comparativa? Esta questão, que se coloca em qualquer relação entre cinema e literatura, é fundamental para pensar narrativas em que o mostrar e o dizer se debruçam sobre a imagem proibida.
