Abstract
ASEAN Economic Community (AEC) is a gateway to get to the global economy, where industrial and business activities in the ASEAN region is a key and a main actor in the supply chain and production network, both regionally and globally. One major factor that we have to win the competition of this AEC is the young generation of Indonesia. However, Indonesia is considered to not fully prepare for the Asean Economic Community, so Indonesian human resources must be strengthened through skills. The increase in number of unemployed intellectuals in Indonesia is influenced by three factors: First, because of the competence of students who are less concerned about the developments around them; Second, a lack of jobs for the citizens of Indonesia in promoting free market competition; Third, weak rule of law in a free market. College graduates should be competent in accordance with the needs of stakeholders, which should meet the needs of professionals, the needs of society, the needs of industry, and the needs of future generations (scientific aspects of vision). Thus, this nation has a skilled and capable human resources to compete both in local and international.
