Abstract
"ARBB traz neste número algumas das conferências apresentadas durante o VI Congresso Brasileiro de Bioética, I Congresso de Bioética do Mercosul e Fórum da Rede Latino-Americana e do Caribe de Bioética da UNESCO -REDBIOÉTICA, realizados entre 30 de agosto e 03 de setembro de 2005 em Foz do Iguaçu e promovidos pela Sociedade Brasileira de Bioética. Reunindo aproximadamente 800 participantes entre brasileiros, latinoamericanos, estadunidenses e europeus, o evento promoveu discussões sobre a matriz epistemológica da bioética, os parâmetros éticos que devem orientar as relações com o ambiente, a educação e a pesquisa envolvendo seres humanos, entre outras. A diversidade de temas e a profundidade alcançada nos debates mostraram que a bioética brasileira, em poucos anos, tornouse adulta e responsável" ["ARBB brings this issue some of the lectures presented during the VI Brazilian Congress of Bioethics, I Congress of Bioethics Forum of Mercosur and Latin American Network and the UNESCO Bioethics Caribbean -REDBIOÉTICA, conducted between August 30 and September 3, 2005 in Foz do Iguaçu and promoted by the Brazilian Society of Bioethics.
