Abstract
"A jovem história da bioética – entendida como uma reflexão sobre as consequências éticas, jurídicas e sociais do desenvolvimento da biomedicina – encontra, em primeiro lugar, diferenças na abordagem de acordo com a posição geográfica onde é debatida. Essa diversidade é o reflexo dos diferentes contextos geoculturaisa nos quais estão envoltas as práticas médicas e suas preocupações científicas. Olhando, porém, de mais perto, percebemos que ela possui ainda outro significado: o elo territorial da bioética, que pode tomar formas diversas (ao redor de instituições, comunidades ou Estados) para ir de encontro a finalidades diversas (apropriar-se da bioética, organizá-la, regulamentá-la e divulgá-la)" ["he young history of bioethics - understood as a reflection on the ethical, legal and social consequences of the development of biomedicine - is, First, differences in approach according to the geographical location where it is discussed.
