Abstract
International climate policies are aimed at keeping global warming below two degrees Celsius until the end of the 21st century, as compared to pre-industrial times. In order to achieve this goal, there is a need for a timely implementation of effective mitigation measures to prevent climate change. Therefore, the aviation sector, like other industries, must make increasing efforts to address the challenges of climate change and diminishing oil reserves.
