Nicht nur die Mittel und Methoden, sondern auch die Ziele und Sinnzusammenhänge unserer Wirtschafts- und Lebensform sind zu überdenken; ein vernünftigerer Umgang mit der Natur ist nicht nur ein technisches, sondern wesentlich ein ethisches und kulturelles Problem. (Not only the means and methods, but also the goals and contexts of our economic system and way of life should be reconsidered; a sound use of natural resources is not a mere technical problem, but essentially an ethical and cultural problem.)
