Abstract
"Mirado en perspectiva histórica, el movimiento modernista -por el cual la Iglesia Católica se sentirá sacudida en los mismos fundamentos de su fe, sobre todo en Francia, con repercusiones en Gran Bretaña e Italia, desde fmes del siglo XIX hasta los primeros años del siglo XX- "transcurre en cierto modo paralelamente a la crisis que medio siglo antes había estallado en las Iglesias de la Reforma bajo el nombre de 'protestantismo liberal'" ["Viewed in historical perspective, the modernist movement by which the Catholic Church will feel in the very foundations shake of their faith, especially in France, with repercussions in Great Britain and Italy from DMARDs nineteenth century to the early years of the twentieth century "runs somewhat parallel to the crisis half a century earlier had exploded in the churches of the Reformation under the name of 'liberal Protestantism'"]
