Abstract
"El movimiento indígena ecuatoriano, MIE, ha tenido un largo proceso de consolidación política, social e intelectual, en un permanente diálogo, distancia y oposición con sectores intelectuales blanco-mestizos. El objetivo de este artículo es problematizar el campo intelectual mestizo y la forma de establecer su relación política y académica con el movimiento indígena ecuatoriano. Se abordan la problemática relacionada al campo intelectual, la representación, la identidad y la hegemonía en el debate de la plurinacionalidad" ["The ecuatorian indigenous movement, EIM, has a long term process of political, social and intellectual consolidation, in a permanent dialogue, distance and oposition against intellectual white-mestizo sector. The purpose of this paper is inquiring about the mestizo intellectual field and how it has build its political and academic relation with ecuatorian indigenous movement.
