Abstract
"Going through the many writings of Yonggi Cho, one is left without a doubt that the doctrine of the Holy Spirit plays a very vital role in his understanding of the Christian life and mission. Cho refers repeatedly to the Holy Spirit throughout his writings.2 But his theology of the Spirit (in the sense of reflecting on the Spirit and expressing these reflections in a coherent framework) is largely implicit rather than explicit. My aim in this paper is to highlight some broad features of his teachings concerning the Holy Spirit, make explicit certain pneumatological motifs and offer a critique."
