Abstract
"El artículo presenta un análisis histórico-crítico del texto sobre la aparición de los ángeles a los pastores de Belén. Son aplicados algunos de los principales pasos exegéticos del método histórico-crítico, finalizando con una evaluación del contenido y de la teología presentada por la narración. El texto es interpretado como constituyendo más una confesión sobre la verdadera identidad del pequeño del pesebre, que propiamente un relato de detalles históricos ocurridos a cielo abierto en las cercanías de Belén." "This article presents an historical-critical analysis of the text about the appearance of the angels to the shepherds in Bethlehem. Some of the principal exegetical steps of the historical-critical method are applied to the text, terminating with an evaluation of the content and the theology presented by the narrative. The text is interpreted as consisting of a confession about the true identity of the babe in the manger, more than a reporting about the historical details of what happened in the open skies near Bethlehem."
