Abstract
"El contenido del artículo “Cuba: la perspectiva de género y sus pruebas” constituye una sinopsis del tercer capítulo de una investigación elaborada en ocasión del Premio CLACSO-ASDI 2012 que obtuviera la autora con su proyecto “Una habitación propia para las ciencias sociales en Cuba. La perspectiva de género y sus pruebas” en el concurso de proyectos “El estado de las ciencias sociales en América Latina y el Caribe en el mundo contemporáneo”. En esta síntesis Díaz Canals analiza los estudios de género en su país. Destaca cómo La Habana desempeñó un papel importante en el camino para que las mujeres latinoamericanas pudieran acceder a sus derechos elementales como seres humanos. Es en territorio cubano donde nace una Comisión Interamericana de la Mujer, donde surge una resistencia interna a actitudes discriminatorias de un feminismo imperial excluyente desde posiciones de dominio que reproduce lo mismo que critica. Examina con un sentido crítico el proceso de inserción de los estudios de género en la academia, describe sus avances y limitaciones, valora la existencia de un lenguaje bélico, la necesidad de introducir en el sistema jurídico una perspectiva de género. Considera que estos temas deben ser discutidos de otro modo, viendo en todo creación" ["The content of the article “Cuba: the gender perspective and their tests” is a synopsis of the third chapter of a research made at times of the Prize CLACSO-ASDI 2012 that the author obtained with her project “An own room for the social sciences in Cuba. The gender perspective and their tests” in the competition of projects “The state of the social sciences in Latin America and Caribbean in the contemporary” world. In this synthesis Díaz Canals analyzes the gender studies in its country. She highlights how Havana played an important role in the road so that the Latin American women could consent to their elementary rights as human beings. It is in Cuban territory where the Woman’s Interamerican Commission is born, where an internal resistance arises to discriminatory attitudes of an imperial excluding feminism from positions of domain that reproduces the same thing that criticizes. She examines with a critical sense the process of insert of the gender studies in the academy, it describes their advances and limitations, and it values the existence of a warlike language, the necessity of introducing in the juridical system a gender perspective. It considers that these topics should be discussed otherwise, seeing in everything creation"]
