Abstract
"Paciente solteiro do sexo masculino, 20 anos, natural de Tocantins, portador de insuficiência renal crônica, devido a glomérulo nefrite crônica, em tratamento hemodiálico há dez meses. Paciente com poucas possibilidades de acesso vascular para seguir o tratamento devido a trombose de veias. Inicia-se o estudo para transplante com a possibilidade de receber um rim da irmã de 23 anos, casada, residente em Tocantins, mãe de duas filhas, uma de 3 anos e outra de 5 anos, que deixou com o esposo na cidade de origem, e viajou cerca de dois dias para a cidade do estudo, onde se encontra há 3 meses para realização dos exames. Doadora sem patologias prévias, exames laboratoriais bons e de compatibilidade ideal. Durante a consulta, pede ao médico do serviço de transplante renal que invente um erro laboratorial ou uma incompatibilidade já que não quer doar o rim; e se fosse sincera, acarretaria desgosto dos familiares e do irmão. Diz-se forçada pelo pai autoritário, já que foi a “escolhida”. Preocupa-se com a saúde das filhas no futuro, e está com saudades de casa e precisa retornar, com a impossibilidade de aguardar até a realização do transplante. E agora, o que fazer?"
