Abstract
By using the most updated data obtained from years of fieldwork, this paper attempts to examine the legitimacy of contemporary Beijing Christianity through case studies of Beijing Shouwang Church, Antioch Church and Mount of Olives Church. This paper argues that there are multiple approaches in constructing the legitimacy of churches, and the choice of approaches is determined by the socialcultural context of individual church.
