Abstract
En este artículo se realiza un estudio comparado de dos tratados escolares de gramática, pertenecientes a Ezequiel Solana (1863-1931) y Manuel Montoliu (1877-1961), respectivamente. Los pilares metodológicos sobre los que se sustenta el trabajo son: la perspectiva historiográfica, en su do- ble dimensión interna y externa, según los postulados de Brekle, así como los presupuestos de la etnogramática, en la línea de los trabajos sobre el tema de Calero Vaquera (1997, 2004). La hipótesis que se defiende y se intenta demostrar a través de esta investigación parte del hecho de que los tratadistas escolares vuelcan en sus gramáticas, compendios o epítomes su pensamiento pedagógico (humanismo cristiano en el caso de Solana, y neutralidad liberal en el caso de Montoliu) a través del modelo teórico seleccionado para la transposición didáctica, así como mediante los ejemplos empleados para la práctica gramatical. En ambos casos, percibimos dos modelos gramaticales contrapuestos, dos bloques de ejemplos diferentes y dos enfoques pedagógicos distintos.
This article carries out and ertakes a comparative study of two school grammar treaties, written by Ezequiel Solana (1863-1931) and Manuel Montoliu (1877-1961), respectively. The methodological basis is a historiographical perspective, in its dual internal and external dimensions, according to the theoretical framework of Brekle (1986), as well as etnogrammar by Calero Vaquera (1997, 2004). The hypothesis that we defend and we try to demonstrate through this research builds on the fact that school grammarians incorporate their pedagogical thought (Christian humanism in the case of Solana and liberal neutrality in regard to Montoliu) within the theoretical model chosen for didactic transposition, and also within the examples used to practice grammar. In both cases, we can observe two opposite grammatical patterns, two different blocks of examples and two different teaching approaches.
