AbstractGuillaume Dufay, motet, apparently on the departure of Cleofe Malatesta from Rimini, 20 August 1420, 4 voices: 'Vasilissa ergo gaude', Tenor: 'Concupivit rex'. Arnold de Lantins, rondeau, 3 voices: 'Quant je mire vos doulce portraiture'. ; 15th-century polyphonic music: 325 secular and religious pieces. Some anonymous pieces, others by 56 named composers, including c. 50 pieces by Guillaume Dufay. The repertoire is mainly in French, by northern composers, though the manuscript itself was made in Italy, c. 1428-36. No illustrations.
