FEMINISTAS POR OPÇÃO, CATÓLICAS PELO DIREITO DE DECIDIR: VOZES FEMINISTAS NA IGREJA CATÓLICA

Abstract

This study aims to examine how the Catholic feminist NGO Catholic for the Right to Decide (CRD) reconciles, through its discourses and practices, feminism and Catholicism. For this, we opted for the use of multilocated ethnography to explore different group entry fields. By analyzing in-person interviews, Facebook page, materials produced by the NGO and statements in the media, it can be concluded that the group has a highly professional and active militancy in different areas, which, combined with a modern individual vision, has as one of its main goals free will and autonomy of subjects. Also, thinking its actions and discourses requires a look at the power struggle in which the group falls within the religious field. By counteract the official voice of the Church, arguing new possibilities of being Catholic men and women, and trying to stake out a new position within this field, the group arises as an agent in the search for changes in the dominant structure.

O presente trabalho busca analisar de que forma a ONG feminista católica Católicas pelo Direito de Decidir (CDD) concilia, através de seus discursos e práticas, o feminismo e o catolicismo. Para isso, optou-se pelo uso da etnografia multisituada a fim de explorar diferentes campos de inserção do grupo. Ao analisar entrevistas presenciais, página do facebook, materiais produzidos pela ONG e declarações nos meios de comunicação, pode-se concluir que o grupo conta com uma militância altamente profissionalizada e atuante em diferentes áreas, que aliada a uma visão de sujeito moderno tem como uma de suas principais bandeiras o livre arbítrio e a autonomia dos sujeitos. Além disso, pensar suas ações e discursos necessita um olhar para a disputa de poder no qual o grupo se insere dentro do campo religioso. Ao se contrapor à voz oficial da Igreja, defendendo novas possibilidades de ser católico e católica, e tentando demarcar um novo posicionamento dentro desse campo, o grupo se coloca como agente na busca de alterações na estrutura dominante.
