Abstract
This second edition of Terrorism and Organized Hate Crime was extensively updated to include religious connections and extremist factions both at home and abroad including Wahhabiism, Hamas, and the Muslim Brotherhood. Packed with new case studies and detailed scenarios, it highlights the vulnerability of transportation systems of all sorts. It explains how both terrorists and law enforcement can use the Internet, and includes an updated contact list, a glossary of Islamic and cyber terrorist terms, and a brand new chapter on understanding and anticipating terrorist behavior. The book stresses the importance of professionally analyzed intelligence and cross agency communication in effectively fighting terrorism.
Includes bibliographical references (p. 325-339) and index.
