Abstract

İslam Dininin, yardımlaşma ile ilgili emir ve prensiplerinden doğan vakıf sistemi, asırlarca insanlığa hizmet etmiş sosyal bir müessesedir.Vakıf, insanları mutluluğa götüren kapsamlı ve görkemli bir hizmet yoludur. Bir medeniyet belirtisi olarak, birlik ve beraberliğin sembolü olan vakıflar, devletle halkın el ele vermesinin çok güzel bir örneğidir.Atatürk Nutuk adlı eserinde şöyle demektedir: “Vakıfların kuruluşlarındaki güzel düşünceler göz önüne alınınca; toplumsal dayanışmayı hedeflediği ortaya çıkar.”Anahtar Kelimeler: Vakıf, medeniyet, hayırseverlik, sosyal yardımlaşma ve dayanışma, birlik ve beraberlik, vakıf medeniyeti. Abstract: Based on the orders and principles of helpfulness inherent in Islam, Foundation System is a social institute that has served the humankind for centuries.Foundation is a comprehensive and glorious way of service that leads people to happiness. As a sign of civilization, foundations that symbolize the unity are fine examples of the cooperation between the public and the state.In his Nutuk, Atatürk said, “When the good intentions behind the incorporation of Foundations are considered, it will become obvious that they aim public solidarity.”Key Words: Foundation, civilization, charity, social assistance and solidarity, unity, foundation civilization
