This work deals with self-defence as objectively possible, morally obligatory and legally permissible. It is based on sindefendology, the scientific discipline of self-defence, and Christian ethics. It explains the need of sindefendology base, and the necessity of rejecting all the if-concepts of "self-defence" (jujitsu, aikijitsu, karate, kenjitsu, or systems resulting from them). Ethical justification is assessed on the basis of the Summa Theological by St. Thomas Aquinas, the Catechism of the Catholic Church, the defence options of the assaulted and possible danger as a result. It is essential as well as useful to distinguish between situations of self- -defence and self-protection, as only this division allows the defender to identify the nature of the combat situation, and the acceptable ethical reaction before having been placed into the serious time pressure.Date
