Leonard Kernel and his bride Mary are seen here with their wedding party. The customer card lists Leonard at 214 Sanders Street in Indianapolis. The city directory has him as the same address with his parents and he works as an optician at the Wm. H. Block Department Store. Census records confirm Leonard as being 21, single, and working as an optician. His father is Emmit Kernel a jeweler and his mother is Elizabeth. His brother Paul also lives at home and is 19. The 1930 census records listed Leonard's wife as being Mary S. Kernel.This image is a preservation copy made from an unstable original nitrate negative. The image is part of Series III.
