• Economics Ethics in the Fatwa of Islamic Economics

Maksum, Muhammad (Institut Agama Islam Negeri (IAIN) Sultan Amai Gorontalo, 2015-06-01)
The fatwa by the National Sharia Board (Dewan Syariah Nasional/DSN) of Indonesian Ulema Council (Majlis Ulama Indonesia/MUI) and The Sharia Advisory Council of Central Bank of Malaysia/Bank Negara Malaysia (BNM) on Islamic economics is dominated by its ethical aspects. The prohibition of riba (interest), for instance, is an Islamic ethic which is mostly set in both institutions. In this case, the Legal consideration contains more ethics than fatwa verdicts. The ethics in the legal consideration is commonly based on the basic ethical principles of The Noble Qur'an, the hadith and the Islamic jurisprudence. In the meantime, the ethics for the object of contract in DSN is mentioned more in the fatwa verdict than in their legal consideration while the ethics for contract performer is equally found in both areas. This thesis is discovered by reading the DSN's fatwa from 2000 t0 2010 and the MPA's fatwa from 1997 to 2010. Once identified, the ethics in both institutions is classified into a particular category. As the result, this research generates a great implication on the dominant aspect of Islamic ethics in its legal formal.
    • Ekonomi Islam VS Ekonomi Kapitalis

HM, Muhdar (Institut Agama Islam Negeri (IAIN) Sultan Amai Gorontalo, 2017-05-30)
This paper describes some differences in the Islamic economic system and the capitalist economic system. The sources of Islamic economic system are clear, i.e., the Koran and the hadits. The foundation of Islamic economics is distinctive, unique and different with the capitalist economic system or socialist economic system. In a capitalist economic system, economic activities carried out solely to gain benefits and materials; hence, capitalist negates the interests of common people. There is also no guarantee of perfection in capitalist economic system; even it can lead disaster to the people.
    • Epistemologi Ibn Taymiyah dan Sistem Ijtihadnya dalam Kitab Majmu al-Fatawa

Ahmad, La Ode Ismail; Amri, Muhammad (Institut Agama Islam Negeri (IAIN) Sultan Amai Gorontalo, 2019-06-01)
    • Epistemology and Ijtihad System's of Ibn Taymiyah In The Book of Majmu 'Al-Fatawa

Ahmad, La Ode Ismail; Amri, Muhammad (Institut Agama Islam Negeri (IAIN) Sultan Amai Gorontalo, 2019-06-01)
This paper examines Ibn Taymiyah's epistemology in the book Majmu 'al-Fatawa which contains a collection of his fatwas. The results of the discussion can be concluded that Ibn Taymiyah carried out three methods of ijtihad, ijtihad bayani, ijtihad qiyasi and ijtihad Istislahi although not comprehensively from various forms of each method. In general, Ibn Taymiyah's theory in ijtihad offers an inductive thinking method (empirical). Empiric is not only what is done and written by people, but can be in the form of daily life or natural events, but also in the form of verses and hadith. In the present era, a new method of interpreting the Koran, interpretation of mawdu'iy by collecting verses about a problem, then comprehensively understood and then concluded. It seems that this method is in line with Ibn Taymiyah's method of placing nas as empiric, not as a theory, while theory is generated from research.

Kasim, Dulsukmi (Institut Agama Islam Negeri (IAIN) Sultan Amai Gorontalo, 2019-06-01)

Darwis, Rizal (Institut Agama Islam Negeri (IAIN) Sultan Amai Gorontalo, 2017-05-31)
This article describes the concept of children fiqh in Indonesia with discussions covering status and child care. A child can legitimately be said to have a blood relationship with her/his father if she/he was born in a legitimate marriage. If the child is born illegitimately; then, she/he cannot be attributed to his/her father, except his/her mother alone. In the case of child care, most scholars have differed fiqh perspective. Many fiqh scholars stated that women has the authority to care for and educate children is more appropriate care for and educate children because their feminine nature. However, Hanafi and Maliki schools of thought argued that nurturing, caring and educating children is the right caregiver (mother or a representative). Associated Muslim scholars contended that the right of al-hadhanah is the rights of the two parents. Wahbah al-Zuhailiy argued that the rights of alhadhanah belong to association between mother, father and children. If a dispute arises among these three parties; then, the priority is focused on the rights of the cared-child.

Rosmini, Rosmini; Syamsidar, Syamsidar; Haniah, Haniah (Institut Agama Islam Negeri (IAIN) Sultan Amai Gorontalo, 2017-06-01)
Studying of the Qur'an continuously, integrated and comprehensively becomes a necessity if we want to practice the teachings of Islam “kaffah”. At least, this is the basis of dakwah implemented by the Chinese Muslim community in Makassar. One indicator of being “kaffah” in embracing Islam is always showing moderate religious attitudes in all aspects of life, both individual and collective, at the level of faith, worship, muamalah, and morals. In understanding and practicing the teachings of Islam, the Chinese Muslim community in Makassar reflects religious moderation; therefore, their presence did not cause conflict in Makassar locally, but a blessing for the local community. Their Chinese identity is maintained by reconstructing the religious value of their traditions and culture. In this community, the belief of Islamic theology is not religiously indicated as elements of syncretism. As a result, their Chinese identity survives copes with their Islamic belief. Ultimately, moderate of Islamic teachings, as a religion of “rahmatan lil al alamiin”, is then reflected in their daily lives, including in their religious attitudes and behavior.

Arif, Zainal; Warto, Warto (Institut Agama Islam Negeri (IAIN) Sultan Amai Gorontalo, 2020-06-06)
This study aims to examine the halal business opportunities, challenges and solutions in Indonesia. This research uses descriptive qualitative method by using documentation data in the form of books, reports from official institutions such as BPS, OJK, BI, Ministry of Trade, Kemenpan and scientific journals. The results of a study of several literatures found that Indonesia actually has a huge opportunity to become the center of the world's halal business. This can be seen from several indicators between the high level of the Muslim population and the high level of consumption. However, the attitude of business actors who tend to be unaware, pursue more profits, lack of government attention, protect business players more than consumers, the low public response to halal products is a major obstacle. The main solution is to accelerate the application of the JPH Law as a legal umbrella, awareness of entrepreneurs and business people, by making halal certification a part of excellent service, and community support.

A number of findings found is as follow: first, hadiths being bases of the fatwa are inadequate. Some of them are not authentic and yet proportionally. Second, hadith is the long final authorship product from the prophet as the first author to the level of hadith collector such as Imam Bukhori. Finally, each author's subjectivity can be tightly attached to the hadiths that he or she revealed which historically must be explored.
