International audienceHistory of the Muslim pilgrims from Central Asia and India who belong to a Sufi brotherhood and who use to stay in Sufi rest houses when visiting Jerusalem and its holy shrines. The book deals especially with the history of three Sufi convents in Jerusalem: the Uzbek, Indian and Afghan convents, from the17th century to our days, and investigates the life of their shaykhs, their familly and of the pilgrims who stayed in these places.
