Abstract
Ethics and justice are important for personal life and work place. Religionplays important role for establishing ethics and justices. In every aspects ofour life like spiritual, social, politics, and economy Islam have complete codeof ethics and faith. This paper review the relevant literature regardingperformance appraisal based on Islamic perspective. Details literature has been analyzed based on contemporary performanceappraisal issue and Islamic view of work ethics. Islamic work ethics and contemporary traditional work ethics have common aswell as different point of view regarding appraising employee performance. Boththe Islamic Sharia based and secular Muslim populated country have somecontradiction and challenges in executing employee performance appraisal systembased on Islamic work ethics and faith. In this paper a conceptual framework employee performance appraisal has beenpresented based on Islamic work ethics for meeting challenges from traditionalcontradiction.

Export search results
