Los notarios musulmanes de Granada después de 1492

Abstract

This work studies the impact that 1492 had on the city of Granada. The main sources inspiring the perspective in this research are the Arabic legal documents written during the Mudéjar period (1492-1500). In fact, these documents show how the notaries still worked within the Islamic legal system, and did not change either their main functions or their relationship with their clients, namely, the Grenadine Mudéjar community.

Este trabajo estudia el impacto que produjeron los acontecimientos de 1492 en Granada, mediante el análisis de los documentos árabes escritos durante el periodo mudéjar (1492- 1500) en la ciudad. Estos documentos permiten estudiar el notariado dentro del sistema legal nazarí, pero también cómo cambió la función que ellos realizaban y su relación con sus clientes, es decir, con la comunidad mudéjar granadina.
