Abstract
AbstractFrom the decoding of three research projects involving, in different forms, anthropology, this text ties to understand what happens in the process of research restitution beyond the apparent necessity of this approach.  Firstly, the restitution will be thought of as a field in itself, as a place of production of information and definitions of postures.  Then we shall see that it implies some reflexivity because the reactions of our partners during this restitution are new proposals for analysis and for the questioning of the researcher.  Thirdly we try to understand what we are learning through this restitution process about application and interdisciplinarity spirit in anthropology.  This leads us to conclude that research, particularly in the area of health, should retain none of the information revealed during a restitution.  This would not only be ethically wrong but also a methodological failure.
