Abstract

The aim of this work is to study the philosophical, architectural, musicological, didactic, etc. ideas of the composer, Mauricio Sotelo. This paper focuses on three particular interests: psychological, professional and personal. It is a study of his personality and his work that covers so many aspects of knowledge. His work, in the framework of the 20 th and 21 st centuries, contributes to the knowledge of modern techniques and is the focus of studies by different sectors of music: performers, composers, musicologists, pedagogues, etc.
