Elle comprend quatre parties consacrées respectivement aux commentaires de Barnes concernant The Bell Curve: Intelligence and Class Structure in American Life, à l’absence de biais culturel dans les tests d’intelligence (QI), à ses propos sur l’éducation et à une donnée ignorée par Barnes. BETTER TO BE RICH AND INTELLIGENT THAN POOR AND SICK. WHAT AN INJUSTICE! This critique is one of three book reviews of Barnes’ (2016) book, Are They Rich Because They’re Smart?, that appears in this issue’s MJE Forum. It is comprised of four parts respectively devoted to Barnes’ commentary regarding The Bell Curve: Intelligence and Class Structure in American, to the absence of cultural bias in intelligence tests (IQ), to his remarks on education, and to a fact ignored by Barnes.
