Predsmrtné básne vietnamských buddhistických mnichov z doby Lý-Trân (9.-13. storočie)

Abstract

Dizertačná práca sa zaoberá poéziou, ktorú vyslovili vietnamskí budhistickí mnísi tesne pred smrťou v období vlády dynastií Lý až Trn (konkrétne medzi rokmi 862 až 1221). Analyzuje predpoklad, že vietnamská predsmrtná poézia v danom období tvorí určitý komplexný celok, zasadzuje ju do určitého spoločenského a historického kontextu a dokazuje, že najvýraznejší jednotiaci prvok tohto typu poézie sú okolnosti jej vzniku. Autori básní patrili do dvoch čchanových škôl, ktoré sa odvíjajú od učiteľov Wúyántnga a Vinitaručiho. Práca je rozdelená do dvoch častí. Prvá časť popisuje tento druh vietnamskej poézie a zaraďuje ju do širšieho kontextu. Stará vietnamská literatúra písaná čínsky, medzi ktorú tieto básne patria, je pomerne málo známou oblasťou, navyše otázka, nakoľko ide o "vlastnú vietnamskú literatúru" nie je zatiaľ jednoznačne zodpovedaná. Záujem o ňu pritom začal relatívne nedávno, vychádza z práce Francúzskej Školy Ďalekého Východu (EFEO) a vo Vietname je v súčasnosti predmetom štúdia predovšetkým Inštitútu pre výskum čínštiny a nôm (Vin nghin cu Hán Nôm). Budhizmus má vo Vietname dlhú tradíciu, v dobách existencie uvedených škôl bol všeobecne rozšírený a tešil sa zvláštnemu postaveniu a priazni vládnych kruhov. This work deals with poetry spoken by Vietnamese Buddhist monks shortly before their death during the reign of the Lý and Trn dynasties. The work analysis the assumption that Vietnamese death poetry constitues a complex unity and sets it ina certain social and historical background. It proves that the circumstances under which the poems were created are possibly their most distinguishing characteristics. All the authors belonged to the two Zen schools founded by Wúyántng and Vinitaruci. The work is divided into two parts. The first part attempts to define this kind of poetry and describes the context associated with it. Old Vietnamese literature written in Chinese is still quite unknown area. Furthermore, it is still not clear whether it should be considered to be "Vietnamese" or "foreign." The interest in this literary production has started quite recently. It is based on the work of French school of the Far East (EFEO). In present-day Vietnam, the research on the subject of Vietnamese literature written in Chinese cumulates in the Institute of Chinese and Nôm studies (Vin nghin cu Hán Nôm).
