Thomas Nagel's ethical position, as we can find it in The View from Nowhere, still represents a plausible version of ethical realism despite certain serious objections to it, namely those raised by Christine Korsgaard in Creating the Kingdom of Ends and Jonathan Dancy in Moral Reasons. This thesis will demonstrate that the plausibility largely rests upon Nagel's dynamic concept of Objective self.Institute of Philosophy and Religious Studies
