Židé a židovské obce v západních Čechách v 18. - 1. polovině 20. století

Abstract

Magisterská práce pojednává o historii Židů na českém území, především na území západních Čech ve vybraných obcích v 18. až 1. polovině 20. století. Jednotlivé kapitoly popisují prvotní zmínky o výskytu Židů v jednotlivých obcích, jejich způsob života v ghettu a mimo něj, historii židovských hřbitovů a synagog. Informace jsou získány na základě dostupné literatury a archivních materiálů.

My dissertation work describes the history of Jews living on the Czech land, mainly on the territory of the Western Bohemia in chosen regions during the time period from the 18th century to the first half of the 20th century. The individual chapters describe the early appearance of Jews in each chosen municipal regions, their life inside and outside ghetto, and the history of Jewish cemeteries and synagogues. My information had been obtained from the available literature and archival sources.
