AbstractThis article describes the recent treatment of Indian classical in the curriculum of the (British) Open University in recent years which has formed part of our curriculum. This includes a major video-based project aimed at introducing the basics of khyal performance, produced in collaboration with Veena Sahasrabuddhe.
