In this letter from Newman Ebersole, in France, to the ARMCO employees, he describes the fact that after seven long weeks without, mail from home has finally arrived, increasing morale in camp considerably. Ebersole shares how grateful everyone is to receive news from home, no matter how mundane it may seem, and reiterates the care package wish list, as no packages have yet arrived from home. The "ARMCO Barrel" - a care package from ARMCO to the ARMCO Unit - has landed in Southern France, and the hope is that it might be received by Christmastime. This letter is a mimeographed reproduction. The original content of the letter was typed out and copied by ARMCO. Copies of this and other correspondence were then generally distributed to friends and family members of the ARMCO Ambulance Corps, and to ARMCO employees.Date
