Using Video as an Instructional/Educational Presentation Tool: Application of Adobe Premiere

Abstract

With rapid development of technology, designing and developing interactive video product becomes much easier than years ago. Video cameras have become smaller and digitized and nonlinear video editing applications such as Adobe Premiere have brought a revolution to video editing production. However, not many educational professionals are using these video production tools. They rely on instructional designers or media technologists to create instructional video for them. In this session, we will introduce Adobe Premiere to the participants, including video capturing, editing, and compressing through demonstrating the production of a small educational video product.
