User Needs and User Centered Design of Teaching Support Environments for E-learning
AbstractThis paper presents the analysis of some of the Educators's activities to construct interfaces based on the tasks executed by their jobs, in such way that, the design project on distance learning environments can be executed in accordance with them. The User Centered Design methodology is based on User Needs identification and. Data issues form qualitative research are treated with NUD_IST software thus producing use cases. Models are obtained from a questionnaire which investigates teachers' procedures in planning, delivering and tutoring to build tools' prototypes to aid teachers in planning their courses, delivering their materials and tutoring course students.
